James Jenson, a graduate of The University of Texas-Pan American has 7+ years of experience in the field of visual communication. His work ranges from graphic design, illustration, product design, typography, and brand/marketing conceptualization to strategic planning. He currently serves as Pharr-San Juan-Alamo ISD’s graphic designer.

He has been a featured spotlight artist for Miller Lite’s Conciertos Originales concert series, in which he developed a poster to highlight South Texas culture for award-winning reggaeton artists, De La Ghetto and Natti Natasha. He has had original enamel pins featured in BuzzFeed described as, “33 Cool Latinx Products You'll Wonder Why You Don't Own Already” and has had an original pin depicting the “Ginobili block” in an official NBA 2K Mobile Commercial. He has also had work displayed and auctioned off as a featured artist for the International Museum of Art & Science for the Museum’s “Brewseum” event in which he hand-painted a beer barrel.

James, who is a big advocate for community outreach and learning also played a key role in bringing the City of Edinburg’s (TX) first-ever spoken word poetry festival to fruition while being a member of the non-profit organization CRAFT Cultura. Through strategic event planning and the creation of an array of graphics (print and digital), James helped make the festival a success and helped bring new opportunities for aspiring poets in the South Texas area.
